What to bring and what not to?

Since Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort, the admission will include the use of lockers, wetsuit, towels and mask, free parking, shower amenities, breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks and other amenities. Moreover, it's free to visit the Explorer's Aviary, Tropical Reef, Serenity Bay and Wind-away River.

Wetsuits, life jackets, masks and snorkels will be offered free by Discovery Cove. That's okay if visitors prefer to bring their own swimsuits, rubber pool shoes, water socks, hat, sunglasses or dry clothes. If you're participating in the Trainer for a Day program, you'll be required to wear footwear during some portions. Out of consideration for animals' safety, guests are suggested not to wear jewelry.

Breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks are offered by the park as well. Thus food, beverages or coolers are not allowed to bring into Discovery Cove. You may want to catch some special moments at the park. Fortunately, personal cameras and video recorders are permitted to use throughout the park except for the dolphin lagoons. If you don't want to bring the cameras, there will be photographers and videographers at your service.

2) Park Operations Host / Hostess (seasonal job)

Working as a park operations host / hostess, you need to greet guest and provide park information to visitors. Also, help to perform guest bag checks, guest laundry tasks like loading / unloading washers and dryers, folding towels and preparing wet suits and vests.

All candidates of this position must have previous experience in a customer service role. Also, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Salaries for this position start at $7.60 per hour.

3) Park Services Restrooms (seasonal job)

This is a job only offered for male. Primary responsibilities of this position include maintaining / cleaning grounds inside of the resort, resort restroom facilities and the pathways for visitors.
