Before deciding Lake Eola as your wedding venue, there are a few things you need to know in advance. Lake Eola has restrictions on food and drink out of the considerations for animals' safety. All food and drinks to be brought into the park should get prior written approval by the Lake Eola Park Supervisor. Alcohol is not permitted unless you've got an approved alcohol beverage waiver. The use of rice is forbidden as well since it isn't biodegradable for animals.
The park will not rent or set up any items for your wedding. They only rent you the area. You should be responsible for the security of your decorations, the foliage and cleanness of the area. No nails, tacks or tape will be permitted.
As for the charges, they are to be paid by the hour. Bear in mind that sufficient time should be allowed to host your wedding. And you need to pay a 25% administrative fee on refund requests.

From I-4 W - Guests should head south on 1-4 W and take exit 82B for Anderson Street. Turn to the left at E Anderson Street and turn another left at S Rosalind Avenue. Turn right at E Central Blvd.
From I-4 E - Visitors from this direction can head northeast on I-4 E toward Exit 75A. Continue to take exit 82B for South Street. Take a slight left turn at S Garland Avenue and take the 3rd right onto W Central Avenue.

Now that you've confirmed the location of the Lake Eola Park, you can take advantage of public transportation to get there. Simply find out the best route for you before heading out. If you prefer to take a self-driving tour, then keep in mind the following referable driving directions just in case you get lost halfway.
1) Travel from the airport: Driving visitors from the airport will be suggested to exit the airport toward north and then turn onto SR 436. Proceeding approximately 7 miles and then you will see Highway 408 East-West Expressway. Remember to take the west on-ramp to exit Mills Avenue. When you come across the third traffic light, bear to the right and take North Summerlin Avenue. Then turn left onto Robinson Street and continue west. The Lake Eola would be on your immediate left.
2) Travel from I-4 East: If you're driving from I-4 East, you will have to exit South Street. Continue proceeding straight on South Street until you come across South Summerlin Avenue. Then make a right turn on South Summerlin Avenue. Keep going north and then turn onto Robinson Street. The Lake Eola Park is directly on your left.
Or you can choose to take the Amelia Exit and bear to the right onto Amelia. Then turn right at the first intersection and take Orange Avenue. When you see Robinson Street, change onto it. Keep heading east on Robinson Street until you reach the Lake Eola Park.
3) Travel from I-4 West: Visitors coming from I-4 west should exit Highway 50. When you're at the bottom of the Ramp, keep going straight until you see Robinson Street. Stay straight on Robinson Street and you will arrive at the Lake Eola within minutes.
Also, visitors can try to exit on Colonial Drive. Continue straight on Colonial Drive. About two blocks later, bear right onto Orange Avenue. Keep proceeding toward Robinson Street. At the third traffic light, make a left turn on Robinson Street and the Lake Eola Park is located on your immediate right.
As the centerpiece of downtown Orlando, Lake Eola features 43-acre land with a sidewalk circling the entire way around the park for strolling and jogging. It is a popular destination, located at 195 N Rosalind Avenue, with many people making use of the beautiful surroundings to walk at lunch or evening.
