1) Public Relations and Marketing Intern

Job Description - The position aims to assist with various duties within the Marketing Department. The intern is expected to do marketing research, handle public and media relations and carry out promotions for events and exhibitions at the museum. You can have flexible working hours according to your own schedule and department needs.

Requirements - Applicants must have a background in Marketing or the arts, or at least you have an interest. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. Interested candidates must be able to work independently and initiatively in a deadline sensitive environment. A working knowledge of Internet, Email, Microsoft Work and Excel are necessary. Candidates with the pursuit of a college degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, arts administration, or fine arts are preferred.

2) Membership Associate Intern - Join the membership team of Orlando Museum of Art today! The position offers opportunities for you to meet interesting people from every corner of the world and promote the museum's membership program.

Duties:

- Assist in membership marketing. On-site acquisition for monthly 1st Thursday events and many other educational events are included as well.

- Lend a hand with Visitor Information Services management through the museum's front desk.

- Have a better understanding of Raiser's Edge database through operations, like date entry, updating donor files and gift processing.

- Do research for membership and visitor experience initiatives.

- Help with membership cultivation and retention activities through communications with members.

- Coordination of direct mail and email membership drives.

Application Requirements:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Must be a self-starter and keep a high level of professionalism.

- Must have experience with MS Office.

- Experience with ProVenue Max, Raiser's Edge and Constant Contact is a plus.

- Applicants pursuing college credit will be given first priority.
