Opened in 1999, Universal's Islands of Adventure is yet another unique theme based park amidst a plethora of fun filled and adventurous parks.

The theme of this park is unique because it has an inland sea within the park. The park is spread over a vast area in which an inland sea has been built that has five islands in it. All the islands have different sub themes, so it makes the Orlando FL travel experience very comprehensive for the visitors.

Islands of Adventure are home to some of the most amazing and technologically advanced adventures in human history. The guests start their journey from a port and see the islands one by one. Each island has something very unique and new to present you, something that you have never experienced. The families and the children absolutely love the experience they get here. The Port of Entry is the main entrance to the park where you can avail the services of the restaurant, Confisco Grille. The shops as well as other service centers have been lent a theme of the Arabian Bazaar for visitors while traveling in Orlando.

Seuss Landing - Welcome to the world of Dr. Seuss. This island is the main attraction for children with attractions like Green Egg, Ham Cafe and Circus McGurkus are some of the renowned restaurants on the island. I Ran The Zoo is the playing zone for the kids, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish offers them a chance to beat a water spitting fish in musical spinning ride. The fun for children on this island seems to have no end.

Lost Continent - This Island of Adventure takes you back in history into the times of legends, myths, magic and mythology. Divided into three sections the island takes you on a journey of medieval Europe, Arabia and the Greece. The main attractions present on this island include Mystic Fountain that not only is beautiful but even interacts with the tourists. Poseidon's Fury is a live show featuring ancient Greece and Eighth Voyage of Sinbad based in Arabia.

Jurassic Park - Steven Spielberg being the creative consultant in the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, Jurassic Park ought to be the theme of one of the islands. Discover yourself the mystery of Dinosaurs. Major attractions here include Camp Jurassic, an attraction for children. Jurassic Park River Adventure is for the adults, a fascinating ride where you even encounter a T-Rex.
